1. What is the story behind your Mixer channel name?

The childhood game Duck, Duck, Goose is the main reason for my name. Almost all States in the United States call it the same thing, except for one which is Minnesota. I'm from Minnesota so if seemed fitting.

2. What is your video game history/background and all time favourite game?

I've been gaming for 20 years and was first introduced by my old babysitter when he played some Sonic. My favorite game is Final Fantasy VIII which is viewed an unpopular opinion for Final Fantasy games.

3. What/who inspired you to start streaming? / 4. When did you start streaming?

I started streaming for the interaction with others. I originally streamed for the first time when the PS4 launched. A buddy and me got up to 300 viewers playing battlefield 4 and I really enjoyed the chat interaction.

I didn't feel I had time during school so I really started consistently streaming October 2017.

5. How did you find the first few weeks/months of streaming? (any funny stories/mistakes/highlights?)

The first few weeks ranged from okay to good. Getting used to setting up your stream can take time. If you switch games often you need to get used to changing your title, overlay, and some other things. I enjoy learning things and improving them so for me it wasn't frustrating, but for some it might be.

6. How did you grow your stream? How did you network?

I grew my stream with the help of friends. They often watched me early on and still sometimes drop in. Getting even a small viewer count can be huge in getting started. I also had some luck with games I've played.

The first game I streamed often, Grim Dawn, had an expansion come out less than two weeks after I started streaming so that helped a ton to boost my stream. The second one I got into was Yu-Gi-Oh! and that was less than a week before twitch had their Yu-Gi-Oh! Marathon.

7. What has been your proudest moment while streaming?

I don't necessarily feel I have a proudest moment. I enjoy streaming and the interaction. If I'm able to give someone some entertainment I'm happy to be able.

8. How did you find the technical side of streaming? Setting up your stream, etc?

I enjoy the technical side. Although there are times I feel limited with my hardware its still fun to tinker and find the right settings and set ups.

9. What do you enjoy most about your streaming career?

Definitely the interaction with people.

10. What don't you enjoy so much about streaming?

You are going to run into issues. It might be hardware, it might be internet, it might be not knowing what to play. Issues, even small ones, can make things hard to enjoy.

11. What are you short term and long term goals for your stream?

Short term I want to provide quality content. I only stream on weekends currently, so I've been trying to do more event based streams, like tournaments and competitions. Long term I want to be able to provide daily entertainment with variety.

12. What advice would you give anyone looking to start streaming?

Stick with it if you enjoy it. It can be frustrating to have no viewers, but if you enjoy interacting and playing games it's worth the grind to grow even a small viewership.

13. Finally, what other streamers do you enjoy watching?

Recently it's been a variety of people. I've met some cool people streaming so I try stop by their streams if I can. I like to drop by anyone's stream that needs help or would just like an extra person.
