 1. What is the story behind your twitch channel name?

This name came from my main character in World of Warcraft for over 12 years! It's what my long-time guild knows me as so it's very near and dear to my heart.

2. What is your video game history/background and all time favourite game?

I've been playing games since I could remember. We didn't have much money growing up, BUT we got lucky and won a Super Nintendo through a contest. I have fond memories of my brother and I playing Mario and Punch out growing up. Ever since then I've loved anything games. I play A LOT of different games. With my favorite being World of Warcraft!

3. What/who inspired you to start streaming?

Watching people like Maximillian Dood and Ray (Brownman) and seeing their sense of community with their viewers was amazing. I always loved talking in chat with other fans. It made me REALLY want to try it out for myself.

4. When did you start streaming?

I started streaming in the beginning of January. I started off with some Fortnite to ease myself in with it.

5. How did you find the first few weeks/months of streaming? (any funny stories/mistakes/highlights?)

When I first started I was off of work (I work in education so Winter break!) and it was AMAZING. The turn out was great and most of my free time was spent talking with people on social media or streaming. I had some technical mistakes in the beginning, with my coolest highlight was getting my first solo victory in Fornite on stream, AND my longest stream is where I hit affiliate on stream and got to share it with chat.

6. How did you grow your stream? How did you network?

I've never been the biggest social media guy, but I learned how twitter worked and just posted clips from streams and made gifs of gameplay hoping to grab people's' attention. That was a big factor, but after joining BNN it kind of exploded. I met some great people on there and the advice I got from more veteran streamers helped my grow like crazy!

7. What has been your proudest moment while streaming?

Some of my proudest moments are sharing in the cool/hilarious/embarrassing gameplay with viewers. We all get to laugh with me (or at me!). Another thing I love is really getting to know my viewers. I've heard many stories and just learned more about who they were and they've become friends! There's nothing else like it.

8. How did you find the technical side of streaming? Setting up your stream, etc?

The technical side wasn't as daunting as I initially believed it to be. Most OBS programs are insanely easy to set up and I already had a lot of the hardware. My biggest problem was settling on a OBS program that really worked for me. I've settled on Xsplit and I've loved it!

9. What do you enjoy most about your streaming career

Interaction with viewers and other streamers. I've met people and got to know people I would have never met if I didn't start streaming. I'm extremely thankful for those relationships!

10. What don't you enjoy so much about streaming?

The mental capacity it takes to entertain sometimes is a pain to get through. There are some days I get home from my day job and I'm absolutely exhausted, but I have a schedule to keep up with. Getting into the entertainer mindset when you're tired is rough to get through.

11. What are you short term and long term goals for your stream?

Short term is to just have fun and hang out with people with the possibility to make a little beer money out of it. The long term goals are to make this a permanent 2nd job that I could make a decent living off of. I'm in no rush though!

12. What advice would you give anyone looking to start streaming?

The biggest piece of advice is to learn to talk and keep the energy up even if no one is watching. Too much awkward silence might put potential viewers off. It was probably the biggest thing I had to learn (other than the technical and social media stuff). Just explain your trains of thought and make it entertaining!

13. Finally, what other streamers do you enjoy watching?

Oh man I love a lot of people: Robbaz, Brownman, Maximillian Dood, GoldGlove, Touchpadwarrior, Hybearman, Bajheera. Check em out!
