JoeR247 Interviews... TheGreatMooseQanzoo

January 29, 2019

1. What is the story behind your channel name?

The Great moose started as a misspelling of silly goose from a friend and Qanzoo was a name from my childhood

2. What is your video game history/background and all time favourite game?

Fallout NV is my favorite game as much as I hate it. I played a lot of Nintendo growing up.

3. What/Who inspired you to start creating content on the internet?

Finding things other people weren't talking about/doing. I really like video essays and Today I learned type stuff

4. When did you start creating content on the internet?

5. What is your content creation setup. Specs and accessories?

Very Bootleg. Gaming Laptop, Mrantz mic, 2006 monitor, lighting from a push button under the counter light

6. How did you find the first few weeks/months of content creation? (any funny stories/mistakes/highlights?)

Its slow and inconsistent. Support from friends dwindled off and it got even more slow and inconsistent

7. How did you grow your channel? How did you network?

I played games with large viewers but not a lot of streamers to grow. I networked by hanging out in other peoples streams and helping others to get affiliate

8. What has been your proudest moment so far?

Either the forehead hickey from my first podcast or getting people I time out from chat into discord calls for "two words"

9. How did you find the technical side of content creation? Setting up your channel, etc?

You gotta do it on the right days. Not every day is a get in the nitty gritty of updating things day

10. What do you enjoy most about your content creation hobby/career?

Reaching people and making people laugh

11. What don't you enjoy so much about your content creation hobby/career?

The inconsistency and often feeling like every stream is starting over again from square 1

12. What are you short term and long term goals for your channel/s?

Regain my regulars

13. What advice would you give anyone looking to get into content creation?

Youtube is Emotionally easier than Twitch

14. Finally, what other content creators do you enjoy watching and recommend people check out?

Higgoms, Paradyme_Shift, WarlockKimice
